Library
The Library is the top-level home for content your whole organization shares. Today it holds your firm’s Brand Materials; Document Precedents land here next.
Find it in the left sidebar (Library). Every authenticated member can browse it; org-wide assets are uploaded and edited by admins under Settings ▸ Assets.
Brand Materials
Section titled “Brand Materials”A read-only grid of the logos, brand imagery, and marketing collateral your
organization has published. Each card is a shared AssetCard (the same
component that powers the admin-write Settings ▸ Assets surface) and
shows:
- A preview thumbnail (image or generic file icon)
- The asset’s display name and label
- File type and size badges
- Copy URL — copies a CDN-backed link to your clipboard
- Download — saves a local copy
There are no edit or delete controls here — authoring is admin-only under Settings ▸ Assets.
Copy URL vs. Download
Section titled “Copy URL vs. Download”| Action | When to use |
|---|---|
| Copy URL | Embedding into an email, doc, or website (CDN-backed, cache-friendly) |
| Download | Editing locally or attaching to a private document |
The CDN URL is publicly fetchable — don’t share it externally for sensitive assets; download and attach the file directly instead.
Personal vs. organization branding
Section titled “Personal vs. organization branding”The Library is strictly organization-wide. Your own professional headshot is personal and lives under Profile ▸ Persona ▸ Branding, not here.
Permissions
Section titled “Permissions”| Role | Capability |
|---|---|
| All members | Browse the Library (read-only) |
| Owner / Admin | Same view; full CRUD under Settings ▸ Assets |
Precedents
Section titled “Precedents”Document Precedents turn a finalized Word document into a reusable template.
From a matter’s Drive, open a .docx and choose Create precedent from this
document — Athenty detects that matter’s client, parties (by role), and details
and replaces them with merge fields, then stores the template here for the whole
firm.
To draft a new document, click Generate on a precedent and pick a matter: its
data fills the merge fields ({{participant.<role>.<field>}}, {{client.*}},
{{matter.*}}, {{org.*}}) and the finished Word document downloads. Phase 1
works on .docx; values it can’t auto-detect are flagged so you can add those
fields manually.
